No matter where you are today or what you may be thinking, today symbolizes a fresh new start and opportunity. Today is the FIRST Monday of not only the year, but of the new decade! We could sit and grumble over the fact that it’s “Monday”, but let’s face it…we all need to look outside of the box from time to time and see things from another perspective. I’m here to offer just that and a bit of inspiration to boot!
Whether you’re smashing your new year goals so far without the slightest bit of hesitation or grimace or you’re in serious need of a pick-me-up and ready to throw in the towel. You’re not alone!
Everyone has their own specific and personal goals in mind for what they’re bringing to this new chapter in their life and once again (the new decade). Hey, that’s pretty exciting stuff and you should be excited about it, too!
If there is one thing I love, it is to bring inspiration and cheer to others. No, I may not be able to say that I have walked in your shoes or felt what you’ve felt, but empathy is not lost on me and I, too, have had my share of grief in this life.
So cheer up, Momma! You’re going to kick ass in this new season of your life & make your dreams come true!
Whatever the past decade has dealt you, don’t be afraid to reshuffle your deck!
There is so much beauty in your life and though it may be hard to see it now, the storms will begin to clear and the sun will come out again! Take heart in knowing you aren’t alone in your troubles or fears and you’re truly blessed to wake to see another day. Yes, your life is probably sometimes a crazy mess, but in the end you will see all of your beautifully broken pieces mended together in a masterpiece!
It’s okay to take time and just breathe. Just be in the moment and not worry about the things that need to get done. Take time to relax and recharge your batteries and indulge in self-care. Because that is so very important to making everything else fall into place.

Sometimes not getting what you want may seem disappointing in the beginning, but can turn out to be your biggest blessing in the end. Not all roads are meant to lead you to your final destination. So enjoy the detours along the way!
Get your creativity flowing again and reignite your passion. Whether it be writing, drawing, painting, singing, etc. Today is your day and this is your sign! Get started!
You got this, girl! There will be speed bumps along the way, but don’t let that stop you from pursuing your goals and making your dreams come true! Rome was not built in a day! Every time you quit and start over, you’re only delaying your own progress in life.
